A superquick snack or side potato recipe!
Ingredients (serves 2-3 as a side dish)
- 400g baby potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
- 2 teaspoons Garam Masala seasoning (or any curry flavoured spice)
Instructions
- Chop potatoes into bite sized chunks, put them into a microwaveable dish and pop in the microwave
- Cook them on full heat for 4-5 minutes, depending on your microwave speed
- Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil on a frying pan, and add half of the Garam Masala seasoning
- Add the hot potatoes and cook for a minute or two, ensuring the potatoes are tossed thoroughly in the oil
- Shake the rest of seasoning over the potatoes before serving
Alternate seasonings to try – Smokey Texan, Sriracha, Chip Shop Curry, Peri Peri, Paprika, Cajun, Cayenne, Chargrilled Chicken, Steak & Chops, Truffle powder, Chicken BBQ, Spice Bag
Tip – some microwave speeds vary, so always check the largest potato, and cook them for another minute if not completely soft.
